"THE WORKS" Newsletter - #10 - July 2008

The Works Logo

Welcome to the latest issue of THE WORKS, the WebWorks.com newsletter.

The new ePublisher Platform SUMMER release is not the only sign of the continuing change and growth here at WebWorks. While the SUMMER release opens up the power of ePublisher to the Eclipse Help community, we continue to open up our company to our existing users.

Plans have now been finalized for RoundUp 2008 and we are looking forward to building on last year's success and hope to meet even more ePublisher users at this year's event where we will have even more to talk about, and show you.

For customers located near our Austin, TX headquarters we have started a monthly Open House and invite anyone to come along and join us on the second Tuesday of each month to meet the WebWorks team, and ask us any questions you wish. Talking of the WebWorks office, the office space itself is undergoing a physical transformation that is designed to reflect the new more open WebWorks and provide a innovative and fun environment for staff and visiting customers alike.

We are also delighted to welcome UserAid and Scripto bvba to our growing family of Service Partners and look forward to working with them to deliver...

Your Content. Your Way. Every Time.

ePublisher SUMMER Release

ePublisher 2008.2 Now Available

WebWorks is pleased to announce the SUMMER 2008 release of its industry-leading ePublisher platform. Leading the list of new features for this release is the addition of Eclipse Help as an output format. By leveraging the established power and automated processes of the ePublisher Platform, companies developing products based on the fast-growing Eclipse platform, such as the Eclipse IDE, can now produce high-quality online documentation and Web-based info-centers with just a few clicks.

The ePublisher SUMMER release includes what is believed to be an industry-first automated process for previewing Eclipse Help before it is deployed. This new process saves time, improves quality and reduces the time to market for products based on the Eclipse platform by ensuring that the product documentation and help systems can stay in sync throughout an agile product development cycle.
