The product line

WebWorks Products.

Four layers, one pipeline. The source format, the publishing engine, the AI infrastructure, and the published experience โ€” each is a product you can adopt on its own, and every layer interoperates with the rest.

01 ยท Source format

Markdown++

Plain text simplicity. Professional publishing power.

Markdown++ is an open documentation format built on CommonMark. It adds professional publishing features โ€” conditional content, variables, file includes, custom styling, structured cross-references โ€” through extensions that are invisible to standard Markdown renderers. Every Markdown++ file is a valid Markdown file, so the source stays portable, diffable, and AI-friendly. The 1.0 specification is open under the MIT license.

02 ยท Publishing engine

ePublisher

The engine that ties the pipeline together.

ePublisher is the deterministic publishing engine at the center of the pipeline. Author in Markdown++, Word, FrameMaker, or DITA and publish every output format from one source project โ€” modern web, print, digital book, in-app help โ€” with the AI-ready Knowledge Base archive generated automatically on every Reverb 2.0 build.

03 ยท AI infrastructure

WebWorks Platform

AI-assisted help for ePublisher customers.

WebWorks Platform is the cloud service that hosts AI Knowledge Bases and powers the Reverb AI Assistant. Documentation teams configure Assistants, upload Knowledge Bases generated from ePublisher, and ship AI-assisted help that answers from their published documentation โ€” with fresh per-query retrieval, no end-user accounts, and tight integration with the publishing pipeline you already operate.

04 ยท Published experience

Reverb + AI Assistant

Published help, with the AI Assistant built in.

Reverb 2.0 is ePublisher's flagship web output โ€” a responsive HTML5 helpset with full-text search, WAI-ARIA accessibility, and deep-linkable topics, hosted wherever you already host your documentation. Enable the Reverb AI Assistant and readers get a chat panel in the Reverb Menu that answers from your own published documentation, runs a fresh retrieval for every question, and cites the topics each answer came from.
